I wanted to take a minute and update you on my progress and recovery from a March 15th surgery for my torn LCL, PCL repair that you completed.

I was religious about following both the rehab directions from your office and from Dirk. In August, five months after the surgery I completed the Dirk’s sports test with my local Physical Therapist and passed with flying colors. Since then, I have completed an Adventure race, a ½ Iron Triathlon on September 10th and just last weekend a sprint Tri with great times. Bring on the snow, I am ready. (I know-with the brace this year)
I knew I made the right choice when I arrived at Vail in March. I don’t know how I would have felt or survived if I could not challenge myself with my physical pursuits because of a bum knee. Back in March I questioned my ability to continue at a level I was accustomed to. I appreciate your patience and good work.
